MEME HORSE renounced utility; its website accidentally renounced the right address

The verified code makes an unusually plain confession: this horse is a joke, promises no riches and does nothing beyond moving balances. Instead, the surrounding launch page adds a fair-launch legend, a burned-liquidity badge, a marketing roadmap it later denies, and a Copy button that writes an unrelated Solana-style address. The important story is the distance between a clean contract and a careless interface.

999,999,999 horses leave the gate once

On 9 February 2026, verified BNB code fixed the identity as MEME HORSE, symbol MHORSE, at 0x9DAF1a070F882d870A8D58D7a27041c752F3B88D. Its constructor minted exactly 999,999,999 units with 18 decimals to the deploying address.

After that first event, the public surface is ordinary ERC-20: balances, allowances, approvals and transfers. There is no owner, pause, blacklist, proxy upgrade, later mint, on-token vote, redemption or fee destination. The website’s “mint revoked” label therefore describes an outcome, but not the mechanism—the deployed code never created an external mint key.

This also answers the tax question. MHORSE transfers do not divert a percentage. The main tracked MHORSE/USDT market is a PancakeSwap V3 pool with a 0.01% pool fee; that trading charge belongs to the venue and liquidity positions, not to the token contract.

The Fire Horse story deliberately promises nothing

The official page ties the token to 2026’s Fire Horse, 烈马, which it calls a once-in-60-years sign of wild energy. The contract comments are blunter: no intrinsic value, no utility, no expected financial return and extreme risk. Holding MHORSE is therefore a wager on attention and tradability, not consumption of a documented service.

The site calls the launch fair, says there was no presale or insiders, and marks LP burned. Those are material distribution and liquidity claims, yet it supplies no allocation ledger, deployer identity, wallet labels, liquidity-position NFT, burn transaction or lock record. CoinGecko’s report that all 999,999,999 units circulate cannot substitute for that missing issuer trail.

A V3 pool did open at 0xcdcc…6004 on 9 February. Its existence and current reserves prove a market, not permanent liquidity. Concentrated-liquidity positions can have different owners and can be added later, so one burn—if demonstrated—would need a specific position and transaction.

The riskiest function is in the webpage, not the token

The page prints the correct BNB address beside a Copy button. In the delivered HTML, that button writes DMYNp65mub3i7LRpBdB66CgBAceLcQnv4gsWeCi6pump instead; an early purchase step also says “Buy SOL” before a later duplicate correctly says BNB. A reader should copy the verified explorer address manually, not trust this interface.

Editorial contradictions continue below. Three phases labelled Roadmap promise meme campaigns, holder targets and exchange listings, while the footer says there is no formal team or roadmap. The goals are promotion rather than a product plan, and the only operator clue is runner@memehorse.top.

None of this gives holders managerial rights. The no-admin token prevents one contract from printing or freezing balances, but it does not reveal who controls the site, social accounts, initial wallets or V3 positions. Code simplicity narrows technical control; it does not create accountability, liquidity permanence or legal claims.

How the project changed

  1. 2026-02-09
The contract and principal pool appear

The verified token creates 999,999,999 MHORSE; the tracked 0.01% MHORSE/USDT V3 pool records the same-day creation date.

  2. 2026-02-11
The market record begins to form

CoinGecko’s price history records its earliest low, showing public trading shortly after deployment.

  3. 2026-06-18
The Fire Horse trade reaches its recorded peak

CoinGecko records the all-time high for this young market; the event establishes attention, not utility.

What is MEME HORSE?

MEME HORSE (MHORSE) is a fixed-supply BNB Chain ERC-20 built around the 2026 Fire Horse, or 烈马, meme. The exact token is 0x9DAF…B88D. It is a tradable cultural object, not a blockchain, game, betting service or revenue protocol in the reviewed evidence.

What problem does MEME HORSE solve?

A deliberately useless meme can still make security claims that matter. Readers must separate the contract’s simple facts from the site’s “fair launch,” “LP burned,” and “mint revoked” badges, then avoid a clipboard error that points away from the displayed BNB address.

How does MEME HORSE work?

The constructor created 999,999,999 tokens once. Standard transfers and approvals run on BNB Chain without token-level tax; trading occurs in an external PancakeSwap V3 pool. There is no contract-native governance, yield, redemption or product access. Price and liquidity depend on traders and independently controlled pool positions.

Key facts

  • Identity: BNB Chain 0x9DAF1a070F882d870A8D58D7a27041c752F3B88D.
  • Name and symbol: MEME HORSE / MHORSE; 18 decimals.
  • Constructor supply: exactly 999,999,999, all minted to the deployer.
  • No later mint, owner, pause, blacklist, proxy, transfer-tax, vote or redemption function.
  • The verified source calls the token entertainment with no utility, intrinsic value or expected return.
  • Main tracked market: PancakeSwap V3 MHORSE/USDT 0.01% pool 0xcdcc…6004.
  • The site claims LP burned but supplies no V3 position ID or burn transaction.
  • The site’s address Copy handler contains DMYN…pump rather than the printed BNB contract.

Frequently asked questions

Which MEME HORSE is covered?

Only MHORSE at BNB contract 0x9DAF1a070F882d870A8D58D7a27041c752F3B88D. Horse names, ticker variants and the unrelated DMYN…pump clipboard value do not identify this token.

Does MHORSE charge buy or sell tax?

No tax appears in the verified token transfer code. The tracked PancakeSwap V3 pool has a 0.01% venue fee, which is separate from token tax.

Was mint authority revoked?

The source contains no callable mint authority after deployment. All 999,999,999 units were created in the constructor, so “no later mint function” is more exact than the site’s “mint revoked” badge.

Is liquidity permanently burned?

The project says so, but CoinYQ did not find a cited V3 position ID and burn transaction. A live pool does not prove that every position is irrecoverable.

Who runs MEME HORSE?

The site says there is no formal team and offers an email address. The deployer and liquidity operators were not tied by reviewed evidence to a named person, company, foundation or DAO.

What rights does MHORSE create?

Transferability only is clear. No equity, redemption, income, governance, staking reward, product access or contractual claim on pool assets was found.
