MEMETOON meme

MEMETOON (ticker MEME) is a blockchain-based comic/webtoon platform. Its stated goal is to connect creators and readers globally while using tokenization to improve distribution and reduce intermediary fees. The project describes a multilingual service and an expansion path from Korea and Japan into wider Asian, European and American markets. MEME is the platform token, intended to support payments, participation incentives and rewards for both users and creators.

Traditional webtoon distribution can be fragmented across closed companies and expensive payment or app-store fee structures, limiting creator reach and increasing consumer costs. The project also describes NFT support, a marketplace under development, and AI, copyright and visualization services intended to help turn comic IP into globally distributed works. MEMETOON previously listed a Polygon token contract and later migrated to a BNB Smart Chain contract; holders should verify chain and address before transacting.
