Midas Fasanara Global

CoinYQ Dossier

A monthly loan book wearing an ERC-20 clock

mGLOBAL puts a continuously transferable token in front of invoices that are valued and repaid on slower calendars. Its real design is not the wrapper alone, but the sequence that absorbs that timing mismatch: valuation, a cash sleeve, borrowed liquidity, market makers, and finally standard settlement.

The ticker is a price claim, not a dollar

CoinGecko’s mGLOBAL is anchored to 0x7433806912Eae67919e66aea853d46Fa0aef98A8 on Ethereum and 0x25c2067d8b04931a6e2eb078ea8d65c8b8500031 on Avalanche. The Ethereum proxy appeared on 2026-04-03; at review Blockscout counted 66,235,380.780862661608828667 units and only 18 holder addresses.

Midas expressly says mGLOBAL is not a stablecoin and not a vault. A unit follows a NAV tied to Fasanara’s Global Diversified Alternative Debt strategy, so one token can rise or fall rather than return to one dollar.

The strategy buys short-maturity trade receivables, digital invoices and other asset-backed exposures. Granularity and short tenor can spread risk; they do not erase borrower, originator, fraud, currency, valuation or recovery risk.

An invoice portfolio cannot settle every Ethereum block

Fasanara manages the strategy and JTC Luxembourg is named as monthly independent valuer. That calendar collides with a token and lending market that can move continuously. The oracle transports a reference value; it does not continuously sell the portfolio.

Midas places a 10% TVL sleeve in Aave for first-line exits. Midas Staked Liquidity can extend credit after that sleeve is used, OTC and liquidation firms form another layer, and the standard route settles monthly at official NAV. Each layer changes the counterparty and capacity, not the maturity of the invoices.

General documentation warns that instant capacity is not always available and can revert to a 1–7-business-day queue. The legal formula is best-efforts liquidation of the corresponding underlying share less fees. Displayed NAV, request-time quote and eventual payment can differ.

Two issuer descriptions need the missing Final Terms

A June 23 Midas announcement calls mGLOBAL a security token issued through a dedicated compartment of a bankruptcy-remote Luxembourg securitisation vehicle. It describes independent monthly valuation and asset segregation.

The public general terms take another drafting route: Midas Software GmbH in Berlin is the issuer, tokens are its unsecured obligations, and holders own no underlying directly. They say product Final Terms prevail whenever the documents conflict.

The ERC-20 cannot resolve this legal hierarchy. The product Final Terms must identify the obligor, compartment, waterfall, fees and limited recourse. Until those terms are examined, “bankruptcy remote” should not become a promise that holders rank ahead of every competing claim.

Permissioned composability has administrators

The verified implementation 0xD22bE883b7194Ac2D1751Bf8E6e4962D87f2f75a requires a product greenlist role for both sender and recipient. A common access-control contract also rejects blacklisted addresses. This is a permissioned security token even when it sits inside DeFi.

Separate roles can mint, burn, pause and unpause; metadata also has an administrator. The TransparentUpgradeableProxy admin can replace the implementation. The public code proves these powers exist but does not give tokenholders governance over them.

The general terms add an offchain power: for a legal or court order, tokens may be transferred or deleted without the holder’s consent. Compliance may preserve access to regulated distribution while also making transfer finality conditional on issuer controls.

Aave collateral adds a second liquidation story

On 2026-06-23 mGLOBAL entered Aave Horizon as collateral for qualified institutions to borrow USDC, RLUSD or GHO. That creates liquidity without selling the private-credit exposure, but it adds loan-to-value, oracle and liquidator paths.

A borrower can be liquidated because the mGLOBAL reference price falls, stablecoin debt grows, or Horizon parameters change. The liquidity sleeve and designated liquidators can help convert collateral, but neither guarantees execution under stress.

The proper return is therefore NAV change after fees and losses, not a fixed coupon. The 6.65% shown for July 1–31, 2026 was a period APY display. It is history over a short window, not a legal yield floor.

How the project changed

  1. 2026-04-03
    Ethereum proxy deployed

The canonical Ethereum wrapper appears before the public launch cycle.

  2. 2026-06-23
    Aave Horizon integration announced

Qualified institutions can post mGLOBAL to borrow selected stablecoins.

  3. 2026-07-31
    Displayed APY period ends

Midas later showed 6.65% for July 1–31, a backward-looking period.

What is Midas Fasanara Global?

mGLOBAL is a permissioned, upgradeable ERC-20 whose Ethereum proxy is 0x7433806912Eae67919e66aea853d46Fa0aef98A8; CoinGecko also maps an Avalanche proxy at 0x25c2067d8b04931a6e2eb078ea8d65c8b8500031. It is not a dollar stablecoin. Its token price is intended to rise or fall with net asset value from Fasanara Capital’s short-duration receivables and asset-backed-credit strategy.

Midas describes mGLOBAL as a security token issued through a dedicated compartment of a Luxembourg securitisation vehicle, while its public general terms name Midas Software GmbH as issuer of Midas tokens. Without the product Final Terms in the reviewed public source set, the precise issuer, note priority and compartment-limited recourse cannot be inferred from the ERC-20.

What problem does Midas Fasanara Global solve?

Private credit is slow to value and settle, while DeFi expects a transferable unit with an onchain price and prompt exits. mGLOBAL translates monthly portfolio valuation into a token price and adds a liquidity sleeve, credit facility and market makers around that mismatch. The token does not make invoices liquid by itself.

The question is who bears the gap between the displayed oracle value and cash actually recovered. Midas says standard redemption settles monthly at official NAV and instant redemption uses finite liquidity. Its general terms calculate redemption from a hypothetical best-efforts liquidation, after fees, and state that the issuer’s reference may differ from the oracle.

How does Midas Fasanara Global work?

Fasanara manages the referenced strategy of short-duration trade receivables, digital invoices and asset-based finance. JTC Luxembourg is named as monthly independent valuer. Midas reports a 10% TVL internal liquidity sleeve in Aave, then Midas Staked Liquidity, OTC/liquidator capacity, and finally monthly standard redemption.

Onchain, 0x7433806912Eae67919e66aea853d46Fa0aef98A8 is a TransparentUpgradeableProxy with implementation 0xD22bE883b7194Ac2D1751Bf8E6e4962D87f2f75a. The implementation requires product-specific greenlisting for both sides of an ordinary transfer, rejects blacklisted addresses, and exposes privileged mint, burn, pause and metadata roles. The proxy admin can replace logic. Thus composability exists only where addresses and integrations are admitted.

  • The reviewed Ethereum implementation was 0xD22bE883b7194Ac2D1751Bf8E6e4962D87f2f75a; the proxy was deployed 2026-04-03.
  • Blockscout reported 66,235,380.780862661608828667 mGLOBAL supply and 18 holders at review.
  • mGLOBAL tracks NAV and is explicitly described by Midas as neither a stablecoin nor a vault.
  • Fasanara Capital is strategy manager for short-duration trade receivables, digital invoices and asset-based finance; past returns and an indicated APY are not guarantees.
  • Midas names JTC Luxembourg as monthly independent valuer and describes a dedicated Luxembourg securitisation compartment.
  • Public Midas general terms instead define Midas Software GmbH as issuer; the product Final Terms must resolve the exact legal issuer and priority.
  • Only successfully onboarded and KYC/AML-approved holders are recognized for rights under the general terms; restricted jurisdictions include the US, Canada, China, Australia and Iran.
  • Standard redemption can take 1–7 business days generally; the mGLOBAL announcement describes monthly settlement at official NAV without a standard-redemption fee.
  • Instant liquidity is finite: the published stack begins with a 10% TVL Aave sleeve, then a credit facility and OTC/liquidator capacity.
  • Oracle values are reference information, not a guaranteed redemption amount or legal entitlement to underlying assets.
  • The current Ethereum code enforces greenlisting on sender and recipient, checks blacklists, and gives roles power to mint, burn, pause and unpause.
  • The TransparentUpgradeableProxy administrator can replace implementation logic; tokenholders do not govern these roles.
  • General terms permit tokens to be transferred or deleted against a holder’s will to comply with legal or court orders and describe tokens as unsecured issuer obligations.
  • On September 4, 2026, the Midas dashboard displayed approximately US$67.34 million in mGLOBAL TVL; this was a point-in-time observation.

Frequently asked questions

Is mGLOBAL a stablecoin?

No. It has no one-dollar peg or floor. Its reference value follows a private-credit NAV that can fall.

Does a token directly own invoices?

No. Public terms say tokenholders do not directly hold the underlying; their rights run through the applicable issuer and Final Terms.

Who manages the assets?

Fasanara Capital manages the receivables strategy; JTC Luxembourg is named as monthly independent valuer. Midas operates the token and liquidity rails.

Can anyone transfer mGLOBAL?

No. The reviewed Ethereum implementation requires both sender and recipient to hold the product greenlist role and blocks blacklisted addresses.

Is redemption always instant?

No. Instant capacity is finite. General documentation can switch to a 1–7-business-day queue, while mGLOBAL standard redemption is described as monthly at official NAV.

Does the oracle guarantee the payout?

No. Midas says oracle prices are references and redemption uses an issuer-determined amount that can differ after best-efforts liquidation and fees.

Who can upgrade or stop the token?

Privileged role holders can pause, mint and burn, and the TransparentUpgradeableProxy admin can replace the implementation. Holders have no onchain vote over these powers.

Are Ethereum and Avalanche identical legal claims?

CoinGecko and verified proxies identify both deployments, but chain code alone does not prove bridge accounting or that every legal and redemption condition is identical. Consult the applicable Final Terms.
