Ozapay oza

What is Ozapay?

Ozapay is a Solana-based payment super app built around self-custody digital-asset wallets. Its official product pages describe one mobile interface for holding, sending, receiving, swapping and paying with crypto, with QR-code and NFC-oriented flows for individuals and merchants. The supported native assets listed in the FAQ are SOL, EURC, USDC, USDT and OZA.

The OZA token is presented by Ozapay as an ecosystem utility and loyalty token rather than an investment security. It is used for in-app perks, partner offers and reward programs, while the app connects crypto activity to local commerce through its Business Space and Explorer. Ozapay says users retain control of their keys and that rewards are sent to their integrated self-custody wallet.

The product combines consumer payments, merchant collection, swaps, messaging, learning quests and referral incentives. The Explorer organizes verified offers into leisure, bars/restaurants, shops, accommodation, services and transport, and advertises discounts or OZA cashback of up to 70% depending on the offer. The app is distributed through the iOS App Store and Google Play.

What problem does Ozapay solve?

Ozapay frames the main problem as crypto usability rather than the underlying technology: users face fragmented wallets and networks, confusing fees, difficult everyday payment flows, and a split between crypto assets and ordinary euro commerce. Centralized platforms can be convenient but require users to surrender custody, while self-custody tools have traditionally demanded technical knowledge.

Its proposed answer is a single mobile interface that combines self-custody, transfers, QR payments, swaps and merchant offers. The design targets both peer-to-peer payments and professional collection without a dedicated card terminal, while EURC is recommended for stable euro-denominated payments. KYC and payment access are handled through regulated-service partners, so the app's convenience is paired with identity and compliance requirements.

How does Ozapay work?

A user downloads the app, registers with email and password, and completes KYC through Coinbase before payment and exchange functions are enabled. The wallet is described as self-custodial: the user controls the private keys and can deposit from an external Solana wallet. The FAQ also describes card, Google Pay and SEPA top-up through Coinbase Onramp, and says at least 0.1 SOL is required for network fees and account operation.

Users can send to an Ozapay contact or an external Solana address, receive by sharing a wallet address, or generate a payment/request link or QR code. Merchants can accept funds from a phone without a card terminal; the product pages describe QR and NFC flows, with euro payments progressively integrated around EURC. Asset conversion is available in-app, and the FAQ names Jupiter and Raydium as external Solana markets.

OZA is distributed through progressive challenges, referrals/OZA PASS, payments, app activity and learning quests. Challenge rewards become unlocked and credited after the next challenge is completed, while referrals can reward both parties after signup and KYC. The official information note dated 11 May 2026 lists a 30 June 2025 launch, 996,889,071.62 total OZA supply, revoked mint and freeze authorities, OZA/SOL and OZA/USDT liquidity pools, and liquidity/vesting arrangements described as 50–100% LP locking and minimum 365-day vesting with releases up to 5% monthly.
