Pons
ponsWhat is Pons?
Pons (PONS) is the token deployed by the Pons launchpad on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), not the chain itself and not the launchpad’s factory contract. The canonical token is the verified PonsLauncherToken ERC-20 at 0x39dBED3a2bd333467115dE45665cC57F813C4571. Its verified constructor sets the name to Pons, symbol to PONS, uses 18 decimals, and mints a fixed 1,000,000,000-token supply to the launch factory. The reviewed evidence does not establish equity, redemption, governance, or a legally enforceable revenue-share claim for PONS holders.
What problem does Pons solve?
The Pons ecosystem needs both a platform for launching and discovering new Robinhood Chain tokens and a clearly identified platform token. The launchpad addresses deployment, market creation, liquidity locking, metadata, and graduation tracking; the PONS contract is the separate ERC-20 asset used for the platform’s own token identity. Platform launch settings for individual tokens—such as holder fee sharing—must not be treated as a PONS-holder entitlement.
How does Pons work?
Pons uses active, legacy, and V3 launch factories and lockers around Uniswap V3-style concentrated-liquidity markets. Mobula documents TokenLaunched, getLaunchedToken, getTokenInfo, and graduationStatus surfaces on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), while the official creation page describes fixed-supply launches, ETH pairing, permanently locked Uniswap V3 liquidity, creator-fee routing, optional holder fee sharing, and creator-tax settings. Those options apply to an individual launch and do not prove a PONS-token dividend or governance right. The verified PONS contract is a non-proxy PonsLauncherToken: its constructor mints the entire 1,000,000,000 PONS supply to the launch factory; no public mint, pause, blacklist, or upgrade function appears in the verified ABI/source. The launch factory is an immutable token address and is the only caller allowed to set the temporary initial-buy recipient; launch-window pool-buy restrictions are encoded in the token and expire at its immutable restriction end block. This source review does not establish that the factory currently controls holders’ balances or has a platform-level redemption obligation.
Key facts
- The canonical PONS token is 0x39dBED3a2bd333467115dE45665cC57F813C4571; the active Pons factory is a separate address, 0xA5aAb3F0c6EeadF30Ef1D3Eb997108E976351feB.
- Blockscout’s verified contract identifies Pons/PONS with 18 decimals and decodes a constructor supply of 1,000,000,000 PONS.
- The constructor mints the entire initial supply to the launch factory; the verified ABI/source exposes no public mint, pause, blacklist, or proxy-upgrade function.
- The token stores immutable deployer, launchFactory, DEX factory, position-manager, pair-token, launch-block, and restriction parameters; the factory alone can set the temporary initial-buy recipient.
- Launch-window restrictions apply to buys from a configured Uniswap V3 pool, including launch-block blocking and temporary max-wallet/max-transaction limits; they end at the immutable restriction end block.
- Pons’ official creation page describes fixed-supply launches into permanently locked Uniswap V3 liquidity, ETH pairing, creator fees, optional holder fee sharing, and creator-tax settings.
- Mobula documents separate active, legacy, and V3 factories/lockers and graduationStatus; the factory address is protocol infrastructure and must not be used as the token’s explorer link.
- No reviewed authoritative source establishes PONS-holder governance, redemption, equity, or a legally enforceable platform revenue-share right.

Frequently asked questions
What is Pons?
Pons (PONS) is the fixed-supply ERC-20 token at 0x39dBED3a2bd333467115dE45665cC57F813C4571, launched by the separate Pons token-launchpad protocol on Robinhood Chain. It is not Robinhood Chain itself and not the launch factory.
What is PONS’ supply?
The verified PonsLauncherToken constructor sets 18 decimals and a 1,000,000,000 PONS supply, minting the entire initial amount to the launch factory. This is a contract-level fact, not an aggregator estimate.
Do PONS holders receive fees or vote?
The reviewed sources do not establish a PONS-token governance or fee right. The creation UI’s optional holder fee sharing refers to holders of an individual launched token and is configured per launch; it is not evidence of a platform-token entitlement.
How does the Pons launchpad work?
The official creation page describes fixed-supply token launches paired with ETH and permanently locked Uniswap V3 liquidity. Mobula adds active/legacy/V3 factories and lockers, launch metadata, concentrated-liquidity positions, and graduationStatus tracking.
Can Pons administrators mint, freeze, blacklist, or upgrade PONS?
The verified PONS contract source shows constructor-only initial minting and no public mint, pause, blacklist, or proxy-upgrade function. Its immutable launch factory can set only the temporary initial-buy recipient, while launch-window pool-buy limits are encoded in the token and expire. Factory and locker permissions remain separate protocol-infrastructure questions and should not be inferred as arbitrary control over PONS balances.
Is PONS a tokenized stock, equity, or claim on Robinhood?
No such right is established by the reviewed token, launchpad, or technical materials. Do not infer ownership, redemption, or equity rights from the Pons name, Robinhood Chain association, or fee settings.
