Ribbita by Virtuals

Ribbita made the missing name its most valuable feature

The chain answers when the curve graduated, which token trades, where its tax goes and which key can alter settings. The identity story runs backward: a blank official profile leaves a reversed ticker and a trust name to carry an affiliation claim neither source makes.

A manifesto entered the curve without a maker’s signature

Virtuals created project 18820 on 11 January 2025. Its copy says crypto and fintech are merging but names no company, developer, model or app. The sole member says Owner while public wallet, biography, avatar and socials are empty.

Four hours later bonding completed. At 00:30:03 UTC on 12 January, launch machinery created TIBBIR, its VIRTUAL pair, Agent DAO, veToken and token-bound accounts around agent 826. Contracts prove deployment, not a useful AI running behind them.

Virtuals’ builder guide calls biography front-end description that does not influence sentience or actions. Ribbita’s AI description, first message, roadmap, utility, product detail, ACP ID and revenue wallet remain empty.

One billion units became a market before a product

Ribbita belongs to the older standard-launch generation. The retained guide describes a 100 VIRTUAL curve, graduation near 42,000, one billion initial tokens, a VIRTUAL pool and ten-year LP lock. The API marks BONDING; its pool is 0x0c3b…4888.

Supply was 999,904,783.434368 on 4 September 2026 because holders can burn. Buy and sell each pay 100 basis points. No Ribbita document obliges the tax recipient to fund inference, development, buybacks or holder distributions. A fee market arrived; a service contract did not.

The fixed clone still answers to living keys

TIBBIR is a minimal proxy with implementation 0x766E…EB7b embedded in bytecode, not a conventional upgradeable proxy. Yet owner or factory can alter pool and caller lists, tax recipient and rates, swap threshold, and recover foreign assets.

The live owner is EOA 0xe220…2567, also used across other Virtuals agent tokens; tax recipient is 0x8e02…5d0e. Public labels identify neither accountable humans nor signer policy, and the member wallet is hidden.

Agent DAO and veToken addresses are not a constitution. No proposal archive, quorum, treasury mandate or execution rule was found while direct owner setters remain live. TIBBIR custody, ve participation and operational authority are separate relationships.

A trust name became a bridge the filing never built

TIBBIR is RIBBIT backward. A Robinhood Form 5 filed 3 January 2025 records a Tibbir Trust receiving and transferring Robinhood shares on 15 May 2024 and describes Meyer Malka family holdings. It never names Ribbita, TIBBIR, Virtuals, Base or 0xA4A2…6e00.

Virtuals terms call permissionless launches third-party projects and disclaim due diligence and endorsement. Without a Ribbit Capital statement, authenticated entity, operator disclosure or rights contract, affiliation remains inference. A holder owns a taxed token—not the trust’s shares, Ribbit equity, Ribbita IP or a secret product claim.

How the project changed

  1. 2024-05-15
Tibbir Trust appears in a Robinhood share transfer

The later Form 5 records a family-trust transaction, not the future token.

  2. 2025-01-03
    The Form 5 becomes public

Meyer Malka files the Robinhood report eight days before the profile.

  3. 2025-01-11
    Ribbita enters Virtuals

Project 18820 appears with a broad manifesto and no named builder or product.

  4. 2025-01-12
    The curve graduates

At 00:30:03 UTC agent 826 receives TIBBIR, DAO, veToken and a VIRTUAL market.

  5. 2025-09-24
    Virtuals sharpens the third-party boundary

Terms v9 say a launch listing is not an endorsement.

What is Ribbita by Virtuals?

Ribbita is Virtuals project 18820 and agent 826. Its canonical Base token is TIBBIR at 0xA4A2E2ca3fBfE21aed83471D28b6f65A233C6e00. It graduated into a VIRTUAL-paired Uniswap market on 12 January 2025. The transferable, taxed ERC-20 is not a deed to the Ribbita account, agent code, brand, model, Ribbit Capital or a fintech product.

What problem does Ribbita by Virtuals solve?

Ribbita turns absence into attention. Its description says crypto and fintech are merging, while AI description, product detail, roadmap, token utility, revenue connection and accountable team identity are blank. That vacuum produced a thesis around TIBBIR being RIBBIT reversed and an SEC filing containing a Tibbir Trust. The name match is real; the filing concerns Robinhood shares, not this token.

How does Ribbita by Virtuals work?

The historical Virtuals path opened a prototype curve for 100 VIRTUAL, graduated around 42,000 and paired one billion initial tokens with VIRTUAL under a ten-year LP lock. Ribbita completed that path. Token, Agent DAO, veToken, TBA and pool are separate objects. Live supply is about 999.905 million; buys and sells each pay 1%. The clone target is fixed, but an active owner EOA and the factory retain tax and pool setters. No revenue wallet or Ribbita-specific holder contract is published.

  • Token 0xA4A2…6e00 pairs with VIRTUAL at 0x0c3b…4888.
  • The profile appeared 11 January 2025; graduation followed at 00:30:03 UTC on 12 January.
  • Live 18-decimal supply was 999,904,783.434368 on 4 September 2026; holders can burn.
  • Buy and sell taxes are each 100 basis points.
  • The minimal proxy uses AgentToken implementation 0x766E…EB7b.
  • Owner 0xe220…2567 and the factory retain parameter powers; the public member is unnamed.
  • AI description, roadmap, utility, ACP ID, product details and revenue wallet are blank.
  • No agreement grants holders revenue, IP, equity, redemption or operator control.

Frequently asked questions

Is TIBBIR officially a Ribbit Capital token?

No reviewed primary source says so. The reversed ticker and Tibbir Trust name are clues, but the SEC filing covers Robinhood shares and never mentions Ribbita, Virtuals or the contract.

Does TIBBIR buy part of an AI agent?

It buys an ERC-20. No model ownership, source code, service terms or IP assignment is published, and Virtuals says biography text does not determine agent actions.

Where does the 1% tax go?

To a configurable project recipient. No binding formula distributes it to holders or requires spending on an agent service.

Can holders govern Ribbita?

DAO and veToken addresses exist, but no Ribbita constitution or execution policy shows that ordinary TIBBIR controls the operator, code, IP, treasury or tax settings.

What product is live?

The profile, social feed and token market exist. The official record does not describe a deployed fintech app, model, ACP service, roadmap or revenue connection.
